Goals of the Beta Test

The current goals for beta testing are to confirm that:

• All order types are working and executing correctly with realistic logic
• All hotkeys and settings work as expected, and quickly
• All widgets integrate and connect
  • With pop-out windows
  • At peak market hours
  • The global rainbow color link works with all widgets and windows quickly and as expected
• The platform is stable overall
• Metrics, accounts, and positions are accurate
• The Metrics Reset and Buying Power changes function correctly.

Updates from March 12th, 2026

• Added the ability to sort and edit rows in the Positions and Trade Activity widgets.
  • These now save to your Sim Platform layouts as well.
• Added Scanner History widget.
• Improved error messaging for delisted stocks.

Updates from March 6th, 2026

• Hot Buttons!
  • Customize your any hotkeys to turn into hot buttons. See video in the Hotkeys section here: Settings and Hotkeys
• Added customizable and sortable rows to positions widget 
• Bug fixed when the previous or current day's position disappeared.
• Bug fixed where after-hours trades would result in incorrect bid/ask price limit orders.
• Resetting all hotkeys to the default and deleting hotkeys now forces a confirmation button before deletion.
• Cancel all function now works on the individual order entry widget without the activity monitor.
• Current Account value added to account settings to help you see the actual value before a reset or account change.

Updates from February 27th, 2026

• General Font and color updates
• Added  "No stocks fit the current scanner's criteria" when the scanner does not have any triggers for the day
• Added "Aggregated P/L/Share" at the bottom of your Positions widget
• Fixed the bug that had account resets round your balance to the nearest $1,000
• 5-letter tickers now fit in the Level Two box
• Added Timestamp to Previous days' orders
• Took out the Close function in the Hotkey editor to simplify options

Updates from February 19th, 2026

• Avg price updates
  • Avg price should now show the average cost of your stock and go to zero when you close the position
  • Added a new parameter called "Cost basis" that shows your Average entry price for all your Buy orders for your position, even after the positions are closed.
• Updated Market data servers. This is related to some members finding the charts and level two data being out of sync

Updates from February 11th, 2026

• Added Buying Power % Hotkey functions
• Fixed the Hotkey drop-down menu bug (not able to select "Bid")
• Fixed Bug in some pop-out widgets with different color links not syncing to the trade activity widget
• Fixed the Hotkey bug that would not save Hotkeys correctly
• Synced font styles across multiple widgets
• Made the trade activity header static
• Hover over gear icons to state the correct settings now
• Ensured that each login session logic does not allow multiple logins, which can cause conflicts

Updates from February 4th, 2026.

• Announcements, wrapping, and hyperlink fixes.
• Synced quote widget timestamps.
• Added Time Sent and Time Updated columns to the Trade Activity widget.
• GTC orders now clear after 30 days and carry over to be displayed in your current day's orders if not filled from the previous day.
• Added links in the Help section that direct to support pages.
• We now display the TIF row in the Trade Activity widget.
• Resolve the default hotkeys from auto-restoring once deleted.

Updates from Jan 21st, 2026

• Clock adjustment from Server time changes all trade history and level two timestamps
  • Within Account Settings, users will be able to reset accounts and adjust their buying power
• Hotkeys saved to the cloud instead of the browser cache
• Add Hotkey increment to default to 1 cent
• Platform optimization
• Optimize the Minimal Widget size and the Color link function
• Layout savings optimization.

Updates from January 10th, 2026

• Added announcements widget to post announcements or alerts to Sim beta members.
• Self-managed buying power and margin with reset capabilities for metrics
• Help menu
• Display Halt messages on level two, allow orders to be placed during halts, but not filled.

• Adding sub-penny pricing for more decimals on Level2 and Time & Sales to better support penny stocks. 
• Adding more hover-over text for sim functions and buttons to assist with navigation. 
• Adjust share and price increments via click/arrow at pre-selected increments (currently goes up/down 100/shares or $0.01).
• Allow Admin to force close delisted stocks in members' sim account.
• Real-time updates and recalculations for all metrics widgets.
• Hotkeys and order entry:
  • Add stops and trail stop orders
  • Short selling
  • Allow the user to set risk parameters to restrict or allow short selling or max loss/gain
• Sortable and editable columns for Level2 and Time & Sales
• SSR short sale restrictions logic on stocks with SSR
• Adjustable font sizes per widget and overall platform
• Exporting of Trade data.
• Full integration with chat rooms: Soon after the Sim is released as a stand-alone, we will start migrating our DTD platform to the new infrastructure of our new Simulator. From here, we will be integrating all the other apps and widgets you are familiar with. This will depend on your subscription level and access. These updates include:
  • News Room and Squawk stream
  • Chatroom access
  • Live streams and mentor session access

Feature Ideas and Beta Feedback

• Possible other ideas once the platform is stable (subject to change, no current ETA):
  • Add a latency tool to showcase live latency of the platform for troubleshooting
  • Allow cash account logic and the ability to switch between cash and margin
  • Add in a third-party Broker's HTB and ETB list for more realistic shorting restrictions.
  • Add in the Economics news calendar
  • Add customizable Commission fees to the platform and metrics
  • Upgraded the News widget to stream all news
  • Allow OCO hotkey orders.
  • Chart trade indicators. To display buy/sell/stop orders directly on the chart.
  • Add in Notification functionality for tickers, price, volume, and levels.
  • To have breaking News and timestamps display on the charts.
  • Add closing/opening bell notification
