This article talks about the Windows-based, downloadable edition of the Warrior Trading Simulator, which is being retired after July 31st, 2026. By default, WT Sim restricts trades over 10,000 shares, as most brokers charge fees for trades larger than 5,000 shares. Additionally, 10,000 shares is normally a very high-risk trade that can result in very large amount of slippage for an order unless set as a limit order.
The error message normally looks like the one below:

We do not suggest to change this setting in WT Sim as it helps traders understand when they might be trading a large size,. However, it can still be changed despite our strong recommendation. Simply follow the steps in the image below to adjustthe soft share size limit:
